Our programs

At Leongatha Children's Centre Inc. we strive to deliver quality educational programs. As part of the programming, the staff use the National Early Years Learning Framework (Belonging, Being and Becoming) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework VEYLDF as a guide. The EYLF outlines the key principles and significant practices.

The EYLF:

The EYLF has 5 main learning outcomes:

We provide long day care and Funded Kindergarten programs.

Both Long day care and Kindergarten programs are equally important.

Our dedicated educators ensure they build strong relationships with families and children to provide a warm and happy learning environment, where children can thrive and have fun. We strive to ensure we have a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone.

Our long day care rooms use child observations to lead their programs, ensuring children learn through their play and can continue to grow and develop. Intentional teaching is also embedded, encouraging the beginnings of social, emotional, literacy, numeracy and creativity skills. We also take on parent feedback and information to inform our programs.
